The reference photo for this painting was taken in the lobby of the Luxor hotel on our recent trip to Las Vegas.This double portrait was fun to do. I wanted to capture the essence of the two of us as a couple without getting caught up in details.

I really like your work, the subject matter, the vibrant colors, are quite striking and draw me in. While I'm not an artist, a very good friend of mine is and works in oil pastels. I'm curious as to how you get these great digital images you have posted. Do you use a particular technique with a digital camera? And are these image files what would be used for making prints?
